Oh Yeah! Here’s a great freebie, compliments of Mike Steup.
Seems like Mike has been working hard for the last few months setting up a new membership site called the Niche Audio Club. And to kick it off right he’s currently handing out some free memberships to let you see the quality of his work. Armand Morin posted his last training video yesterday. As with the rest of the videos, it was excellent. This one was about keywords, in particular about broad match, phrase match, and exact match. That tip is going to save me a lot of money, turns out I’ve been making some bad choices when I set up ppc campaigns! I’ll put the link to the video at the end of this post so you can check it out too. You have to go watch it quick as he’s not leaving them up for long.

Hello, Is everything out there on product creation garbage? I just spent the last 5 days going through about 8 different ebooks on product creation and I think I hit the jackpot….. for junk! Isn’t there a good step by step product out there? I think I’m gonna have to write my own! I’m serious, everything I’ve looked at so far was ripe for refund.

I just watched the first video he put out and it was awesome! He revealed a nifty little trick to use YouTube to generate targeted traffic to your website. (Notice I didn’t say traffic – I said “Targeted Traffic”. My brain is reeling with ideas that I can use this technique on! Oh man, I can’t believe he gave that little trick away for free!
Unfortunately, if you haven’t signed up yet, then you’ve already missed out on that one – he’s only leaving them up for 48 hours. He released the 2nd one a few hours ago – I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, That’s going to be my next stop. After watching the last one, I can’t wait!

Private Label Rights Content (PLR) is content that you have purchased or have been given, that allows you to make changes for resale purposes. It could be an e-book, a report, an audio file, videos, or a combination of any of these. PLR is ideal for someone that has difficulties making their own products and can be very profitable. You purchase the original product, make some changes, (hopefully for the better), and sell the product over and over again. In addition, you can get a product off the ground and on the shelf a lot faster if somebody else has already put together a good portion of the product for you. Putting together an original product from scratch can be very time consuming, especially if you’re not the writer type!
But be careful when you’re considering buying PLR – often the original author has placed certain conditions on the product – limitations to what you can and can’t do with it. For example, the author might state that you’re allowed to make changes to the content, rename it and resell it but he might not allow you to give it away, or put it up for sale on an auction site or bundle it with other products. It’s always wise to check the licensing on the product first. You certainly don’t want to start your Internet Marketing career with a copyright legal problem! LOL.
Normally, when you purchase PLR, the author will give you the file in a format that can be changed easily such as a text file, or a Microsoft word file. Your goal should be to take a product and add some content to it to make it better. Many marketers purchase and resell PLR content without making any changes, but I personally like to change the product a bit, I usually try to take the best content from 2 or 3 different related PLR products, restructure it and put it all together to make a really excellent product. In addition to making it better content, this also keeps the search engines from classifying your product as the “same old stuff”.
Think about it, when you buy an ebook from somebody, you’re really hoping to get a great product right? And if you do get a great product from a particular seller, wouldn’t you be more inclined to buy more products from that same seller? And wouldn’t you be more interested in their upsell product the next time around if you already know how great their cheap product was? But if you pay good money for a product that’s just okay or even worse than okay (I’ve bought quite of few of those), chances are you’re never going to buy anything from that marketer again. As a matter of fact, when I buy a product that I consider to be pretty poor I immediately get off of that marketer’s list. I don’t even want to hear from him/her again!

If you’re having a bit of problems with what to do first and what order to do it in then you could probably use some expert help. It’s a fairly simple thing but there are a lot of steps to take and a lot of details to take care of. I had an ebook on listbuilding that I was planning on setting up here as a free download but had problems with the file being corrupted so I’m going to have to put that off for a bit until I can come up with a good copy.
There’s a ton of ebooks out there on the subject but if you want to do it fast and do it right, I’d have to say that Shawn Casey & Tellman Knudson’s listbuilding club is about the best around. Total step by step video instructions. There’s a link to their site on my side bar and I’ll post another link to it farther down this message.
Here’s the catch: They ain’t cheap! But you get what you pay for! They have the most thorough site I’ve ever seen on listbuilding. I am talking about take you by the hand, step by step videos that start you at the very beginning with buying a domain, setting up hosting, purchasing an autoresponder service, setting up a squeeze page, showing you how to set up a blog, teaching you how to get traffic to your offers, back end offers, how to set up a web page, and on and on and on. The videos are amazing with step by step, follow along, procedures. In addition, a lot of the videos have a check sheet to print out so you can check each step off along the way. And they have an online forum so you can talk to other students and do a little networking.
Even if you’ve never used a computer before you could do this. Brian Edmonson does most of the videos and he’s really great! But I do warn you ahead of time – when you go check this club out, you’re going to be hooked – This site is incredible and you’re going to feel like you just struck gold! (And you did!)
About the cost: They give you 7 days for free and that gives you plenty of time to go through the site and see if you like it or not and in that time you can actually get a lot done. Then after that, if you choose to stay it’s $97 per month. Ouch! that’s pretty stiff especially for folks that aren’t actually making any money yet – but…. If you stay in this club and actually follow the step by step videos you will make money – way more than enough to cover the cost of the course. When you see the content on this site I think you’ll agree that they over deliver!
I’m a member and I just can’t say enough good things about this club.

If you’ve spent any time at all looking at internet marketing you’ve probably heard the expression “The money is in the list”.
So… you’ve probably already come to the conclusion that you’ve got to have a “list”! Okay, so just what is a list? And just how do you go about List Building?
List Building is the process of collecting email addresses of people that are interested in buying the product(s) you sell. This isn’t just any collection of email addresses, it’s a qualified list! This is people that have indicated to you that they are interested in your product and are willing to allow you to send them emails advertising your products. This willingness to receive your advertisements and information on your product is called “opting in” and the process of collecting these email addresses of prospective buyers is called List Building.
When a prospective customer opts in to your list he gives you permission to send him emails – You don’t want to send emails to people that haven’t opted in for two reasons, The first being, if he/she hasn’t opted in to your list, then you’re spamming them, which is highly frowned upon and in most instances illegal. The second reason is, you don’t want to waste a bunch of your time and effort marketing to people that don’t have any interest in what you’re trying to sell.
For example: You’re selling an ebook on making macrame plant holders, There’s really not much point in sending advertisements for making macrame plant holders to most people as they don’t have an interest in that subject. But if you had a qualified list of crafty type people that spend a lot of time making hand made items, you’d probably have a pretty good success rate by sending them your ad’s for this ebook.
So… How do you go about List Building? Can you buy a list? Yes, you can but if you do, you’ll wind up with a list of names and addresses of people that have no interest in your product, It wouldn’t be a “Qualified” list – Once again, you’d be spamming.
List Building a “Qualified” list is accomplished through the use of a “Squeeze” page. A Squeeze page is simply a one page web site that’s sole function in life is to gather the name and email address of your prospective customers and send that information to an auto responder. An Auto Responder is an account that you can set up to automatically send emails out to your newly acquired “list”. Generally, you offer something of value to get people to go to your squeeze page, usually a free report or a free product. Once they arrive at your squeeze page and opt in, your first email from your auto responder will send them a Welcome letter and a link to the report or product you promised. It’s important to note that each email you send to people on your list must include the opportunity for them to opt out of your list.
So now what? You’ve started List Building – What next? How do you turn your List building efforts into $$$$? I’ll talk some more on List Building in a later post!
